Human-centered AI education for organizations

Make AI part of how your people do their best work.

We help teams across your organization put AI to work on the tasks in front of them, through hands-on sessions built around their roles and ongoing learning that keeps pace as the tools change.

Let's talk about your team

We’ve supported AI enablement at companies including

  • Okta
  • 1Password
  • CallRail
  • Risepoint
  • Primient
  • NerdWallet
  • Reckitt

The opportunity

You’ve invested in AI. Help that investment reach further.

Most organizations have the tools in place, and a few teams are already getting real value from them. Many others are still figuring it out on their own. They have access, but little help applying it to their actual work, and the tools change faster than anyone can train for.

Olmsted Labs closes that gap with hands-on education built around your tools and the work your people already do.

Why Olmsted Labs

Great cities make room for parks. Great organizations make room to learn.

Olmsted Labs is named for Frederick Law Olmsted, who co-designed Central Park and shaped many of America’s best-loved public spaces. He argued that a thriving city needs places set apart from work, where people can step away and come back restored.

“The enjoyment of scenery employs the mind without fatigue and yet exercises it.”

Frederick Law Olmsted, 1865

We see AI the same way. The organizations that get the most from it over the long run will be the ones that make room for their people to learn it now. The “Labs” is deliberate: we’re building this alongside our first partners, and every partner shapes what comes next.

Our approach

Technical understanding. Human-centered teaching.

  • Start with expertise

Your people already know what good work looks like in their roles. We build on that judgment.

  • Work alongside

We teach on real tasks from your team’s work, and stay with people until what they build holds up.

  • Learn together

People pick up AI faster alongside colleagues who know their work. Our sessions make it normal to share what’s working and ask for help.

Offerings

Two ways to work together.

Crews give one team sustained practice on its own work. Guided Walks bring ongoing education to a wider audience across your organization.

Sketched figures build a small wooden frame together at an outdoor worktable; one measures while another sketches in a notebook.

For a specific team

Crews: build capability within your team.

Six connected sessions on your team’s own work, with coaching along the way and colleagues learning together.

Two sketched figures pause at a signpost where a park path divides in two, one pointing down a branch.

Across your organization

Guided Walks: keep your organization learning.

Live sessions that keep your whole organization current on what’s new in the tools and how to use it, on a cadence that fits.

Who we are

Built by people who help teams learn together.

Olmsted Labs is founded by Armen Nercesian and Anisha Nandi, the team behind Verbate. Our experience brings together workplace learning, community building, facilitation, and practical AI education.

We combine that experience with hands-on use of AI to help teams understand the capabilities, apply them thoughtfully, and develop practices they can sustain.

  • “He has a rare ability to make complex AI concepts feel approachable, relevant, and immediately applicable… Rather than staying at a high level, Armen went deep in the ways that mattered most.”

    Talent Enablement Leader, Fintech Company
  • “Armen’s AI session was one of the most useful trainings our ERG leaders have had. He made AI feel approachable and actionable.”

People Experience Director, Education Technology Company
  • “Anisha and Armen were incredible partners from start to finish.”

Inclusion and Wellbeing Leader, Global Consumer Goods Company

Where could your team take its work with AI next?

We’re working with a small group of pilot partners. Each one works directly with our founders and helps shape the program around their teams. Tell us about your people and the tools they have, and we’ll suggest a good place to start.
